description:
This is convenient IKEA Rast. Pretty simple and boring, but solid wood and perfect for dressing.
The first thing I did build the background for me to fix the base molding to something. I used a 1 x 4 and a mesh piece behind it to build out.
Then I cut the mold and mesh base to crop all the drawers and sides. I used my new miter saw, I am for my birthday. Like!
I then filled all holes with wood putty and sanded, sanded, buffed.
I painted two coats of white paint. I put in my painting Floetrol to minimize brushstrokes. I used Sherwin Williams paint color Antique White.
I pre-stained top "plateau" I put on top of the bedside table. I put aside two 1 x 6 to 1 1 x 4 side by side on top and used the nail gun to secure them to the top. And then I spotted mesh used to trim around the edge of the top.
More nightstand Rast.
