Loft Bed/Workstation

Loft Bed / Workstation

Materials: MATERIALS: Fjelldal Loft bed, table VIKA KAJ Leg, Door Solid Birch, thin pine board. TOOLS: table saw, hand saw, screws, some small nails

Description: I made it there as 4 years and did not realize what wonderful even existed Site . Anyway, it was really easy and cheap so I thought I would dig up some photos and sharing.

We wanted a small wokstation in my son's room, and it seemed to be obvious.

I went to the wood shop in search of a kind of counter - everything was coming in> $ 0 - so I ended up going home with a birch door $ 65 solid-core - corresponding perfectly matched and birch finish on the bed Ripped the door of my desired width (I chose a relatively thin 20 ") on the table of my neighbor saw and cut corners with a hand saw. I turned a small piece of pine that was about 1/4 "wider than the width office in the back office (you know, to keep things from rolling off). Some sanding, and a topcoat on it and it has been done.

I added the table leg to prevent deformation, although I think that it was probably excessive total.

Bonus: I ripped another large section 6 "of the door, finished, and set along the bottom with some wood screws to an attractive cable-hider - proved very own
