Most storage beds from the platform to the sale were prohibitive. We had seen some people make smaller beds on this site using the Expedit shelves, so we decided to give it a go ourselves.
First step: Spend several weeks researching and arguing about how to design your bed Or use our guidelines and proceed to step two.

Seventh step: You will need five 4x4. Lowe will not cut it for you, so your choice is to cut yourself, or make them from 2x4. Have them cut to 17.5 "each. You may need to cut to a specific height if you are on a hard surface instead of carpet.
