Wardrobe for long jackets and coats from IVAR

cabinet for long jackets and coats IVAR

We like IVAR system. He was with us in our small apartment and he is with us in our house too. We could easily adjust when our life changed and needed more space to store or even divide our living room for two small rooms. And when we needed, we could buy more coins relatively cheap to develop its extension.

The only problem we had with this system was that it has not to store large pieces such as jackets, suits or anything we wanted to hang. The cabinet is greater than one meter (3 ') high.

I decided to hack the system with some extra IKEA and other wood products.

First, I need a skeleton for the wardrobe. It was not a big problem, because the system has these scale elements to keep everything together. I used two pieces of 50 centimeters deep and 226 centimeters high level IVAR (secondary units) and connect with tray components which are 83 × 50 cm.

I had a closet skeleton and I have to close the doors. In a "you do" store, I found the pine doors with dimensions of 40 x 0 centimeters. It was 26 centimeters shorter, at the height of the side unit IVAR, so I put a truck out of IVAR system in the bottom of it and closed with a shelf.

To keep the doors I used pieces cut from another unit IVAR side.

now I had a wardrobe, but there was no cover on the sides.

I had some woodwork in the house and I realized that 5 to put together exactly 42 centimeters wide and can cover the sides of the wardrobe
