adolescent dream to reality Antique
Materials: queensized Noresund bed frame
The Noresund bed frame was my first queen as a teenager. I loved the tub and how it was almost antique looking. When I finally moved into my first house, I was coveting a real adult bed and fell in love with the trend of old frames in bright colors. I decided rather than buying a new expensive color frame ($ 899 +) I convert my Noresund.
Step 1. First, I used a hacksaw to cut the vortex in the head and foot board, leaving the upper arches to create an antique look.
Step 2. I filed back sharp edges and used QuickSteel putty to fill the holes left by the hollow tube.
Step 3. I sanded the edges and classified chewed, then lightly sanded the whole metal frame. For this, I completely apart.
Step 4. I held various sections and painted the entire frame with a gray undercoat rust converter,
Step 4. I went to the hardware and chose a matte spearmint mural. I painted this in three layers on the entire frame. 1 300ml of sample pot for $ 7.50 was enough (just) to paint the whole picture.
Step 5. I turned the frame in the new room! here is!
