A closet to snuggle in
Kathy added some touches to the Pax wardrobe to create that warm, woody closet. If I did not know better, I think it is a stretch and spa for a massage.
"I found your website quite by accident and felt located relatives lost me long ago, I knew never existed. I was Hacking Ikea products for years but never knew the practice had a name (or next). Here are photos of just one of my favorite projects. This is my master bedroom closet I fully equipped rooms in Ikea (mainly Pax wardrobes, but also drawer units that j I forgot the name and always popular Expedit. (I love at the altar of Expedit.)
I started with plain, wardrobe birch doors and embellished with 4 elements:
- paper canvas brown and black packaging
- metal I custom-painted with hammered bronze expanded spray paint
- wood trim I also painted with hammered bronze spray paint
- and finally, curtain rods door handles screwed laterally
I mounted also a Christmas wreath around the main light and a wired remote control switch. I use it for ambient lighting.
is my favorite room in the house, even if it is only a closet. Enjoy! "
