Lack cross-shelf

Lack of cross-shelf

Materials: shelves Lack DIODER multicolor LED light strips, squares, circular saw, drill, screwdriver, paint, putty

description: We wanted a shelf or table to fill a narrow vertical space next to the bed My wife designed the merger of two Lack shelves in an uneven cut, mounted on the wall to the plate seems to float. We used two shelves Lack, a 43 "and 78", made two half-lateral cuts to put the pieces together and mounted on horizontal plate using the standard IKEA Lack of support, but keep it out of the wall 2 ".

The vertical tablet n 'would not support any weight, so we dropped both standard- and used a simple square, on each end to hold it in place. shelf brackets were primed and painted to match the wall color to give the effect of floating. the seam plateau where the two tablets meet was through with the painter's putty. Finally, two sets of DIODER LED lights were mounted at the rear, giving the floating shelf a cool glow. Some nights lazy to plan and two half days on the weekend to put together one of our favorite new additions.
