BOHOLMEN repurposed as tie rack

description: Hi! Like many men, my husband
has a huge collection of ties. Some of them are very old, some quite horrible, but he likes to keep as many of them were a present ... Since we moved into our new apartment, he placed his links hangers, but the result was sad and messy.
I started looking for a good and inexpensive solution by Ikea, and when I walked in the kitchen department, I met drainer BOHOLMEN: it was love at first sight . It has 42 pieces which can contain 1 or 2 links each!
I drilled into the dish drainer two holes and I mounted with screws on a slide rail, then I placed with 3 rail screws the wall cabinet, so that the connection rack can be extracted. Ta-daaa! 30 links are now placed in the tie rack, and there is room for more of them
