description: I originally bought the bed frame Hemnes because it was on sale and I can not pass up a deal. Honestly, it is a bit dull and makes the room feel sad. I wanted to get a new costume and discussing whether it was worth the investment of $ 1000 + for me to feel happier during sleep? Then came the idea to my existing bed better!
I made a very shallow box with three sides plywood 1 and x 2. The headboard is just 1.5 "thick so your box should be deep enough to cover the entire frame. This goes for the top and two sides, the bottom is left open for this false head bed can drag just above a pre-existing. I made the false slightly larger headboard so I added cross tube attached to the top of the headboard real. There is a room decorative which is really secure curiously over the top to be removed from the original. the holes are then used to secure the cross false headboard to the true head. the faux headboard can be upholstered as you want. I went with a beautiful yellow velvet. the upholstery is made using a screw through a hole washer and right to the face of the false headboard (the washer holds the fabric and screw ensures that the tufting not defeated) the buttons are glued to the screw. Dimensions of a king are 81 1/2 "wide by 36" high-low false headboard rests on the cross beams.
