description: My girlfriend recently moved into an apartment in New York, and our room is very small. There is no closet, and our spacing options have been limited because of a radiator, the entrance, and a door to the bathroom. We both needed and chests of drawers bedside tables, but I did not sacrifice all our free space. This is what we came up with to save space - we turned our dressers and nightstands in our bed frame By maximizing our space vertically, now we easily adapt to all our stuf f in our room, and also have a very comfortable sleeping arrangement. In addition, we also have a storage space under the mattress between dressers. Aside from the small jump it takes to get into bed, this is the perfect set up.
Directions:
the combined length of malm 6 drawers , aligned with a malm 2 drawers perfectly corresponds to the length of a mattress size. Just build the MDF box with the dimensions shown above (to lift the 2 drawers at the height of the dresser) and you are more than halfway there.
Ask the slats in convenient so that the space in the middle is covered. They lay on the mattress slats. I bolted some of the slats (a third each) down for convenient not to slip around
Screw together. The buffets with MDF boxes and dressers to bedside tables.
I built a header card and attached too, but this is another project and has no ikea products. Yet if this is something you are interested, you must be bolted down under the slats.
