Billy Convenient!
BILLY bookcase is an ideal size for a particular area in my house and I need a clothing storage solution more practical.
This was done by measuring the BILLY and ensuring each opening was equidistant from each other, measures have been taken down.
I used a long piece of plywood (looked for the most interesting piece to the hardware store) cut down for different drawer sections.
There is a solid wood base to the bottom and plywood for the sides and it was all set with a block of wood on the corners.
drawers are backless so there is more space for clothes. Handles were made using a thin piece of wood.
I left untreated wood that I love the aesthetics, but it can easily be painted on.
Very pleased with how it came out, and hope to inspire others with the IKEA hack!
