IKEA KURA Castle Bed

IKEA KURA Castle Bed

Ikea kura bed castle

I am a stay at home mom, and it is the first time I did something like that! I must say that I enjoyed it a lot. This bed IKEA KURA Castle was so much fun and I like the idea that we can build on that bed IKEA KURA

I used :.

  • Plywood (You can also use MDF)
  • Fifteen screws
  • satin paint (white and pink)
  • Primer
  • Applied carpentry and molding wall
  • Jigsaw and sander electric
  • IKEA Trofast toy storage as stairs

All you have to do is measure the back of the bed and the front and decide how high you want the castle either. First, I drew the castle on cardboard. Then I drew on the plywood and cut the pieces with a jigsaw.

To make the holes, I use an electronic screwdriver to make a small hole to let the blade of the jigsaw through and begin to cut into the plywood. Once I had all cut into shape, I sanded the edges to smooth everything.

I applied two coats of primer and one coat of paint. After the walls were dry, I screwed the back room and the facade on the bed IKEA KURA. I applied another coat of paint then placed carpentry and molding the wall.

I also did a padded pink headboard to give it more of a princess bed look!
