Expedit Goes Kinda Walk-In Closet / Room Divider / Headboard

Expedit Goes Kinda Wardrobe / Screens / Bedside

Materials and tools: Expedit (4 × 4, 5 × 1), plasterboard, wallpaper, wallpaper glue, screw, screwdriver, white paint, stucco bands, hot glue

description: the first time I saw the thin floor plan of my room, I am immediately wanted to separate into parties and live the dream of a closet on one level (or the closest possible thing to it). I used a common-Expedit 4 × 4 with an extension made from a 5 x 1-Expedit (I sawed to length of 4 cubes) as a room divider, but for me, the room was still too bumpy. So I decided to build a kind of screen to close the optical grid and highlight the "walk-in-kind-of-thing" ...

I made drywall, screwed it on my Expedit shelf-combination, wallpaper pasted on it and let it dry. While the glue was drying, I took a few strips of stucco made from polystyrene foam, the sawed in the right length (careful on the corners!) And painted with white color to receive an even finish over stucco. After another drying time, I took a little hot glue to attach the bands get a nice setting for my new headboard / room divider / walk-in.

There!
