Lack Bedroom Desk or Dressing Table

Lack office Dressing Room or

Materials: LACK coffee table, 4 drawers HOPEN

description: This is a very simple hack. I wanted a small desk in my room, but I did not want an extra piece of furniture. Instead, I did that using pieces that I already had.

I removed the shelf of the store from a small coffee table LACK (article number 401.042.94) and fixed between two boxes 4 drawers Hopen (801.295.89 Article Number). The buffets are a little deeper than the set, but I consider this as an option instead of a default: By aligning the three pieces so that the edges are flush gives a space of 1.75 inches behind the desk perfect for clipping a lamp and running ropes.

Attach the shelf for convenient using the same material that held up on the coffee table. To avoid damaging the sides of the dressers, drill four holes 1/8-inch. I placed sticky notes on the dresser to make markings and aligned media with the inner edges of the notes (which was easier than the measurement). This puts the hooks about 3 inches from the office of board).

I also drilled 1/8-inch holes in the desktop background, this time to make it easier to join rather than for aesthetics.

As a bonus, I now use the coffee table in my closet. The top of the table acts as a shelf that is the perfect height to sit on top of laundry baskets.

Remember that this "desktop" is still agglomerated just 1/2-inch made for storing magazines, so it certainly can not hold something of weight as a collection of TV or a book . In fact, I recommend you strengthen the office with other major squares regardless of how you plan to use. Also note that the office is greater than a standard table, so you'll need a slightly bigger seat than usual (the dining room chair in the image is about 4 inches too low to be comfortable).

In addition, there is no reason why you need to buy the coffee table LACK for this hack. "As is" the game tray IKEA has lots of finished particles and hardwood pieces for $ 1 -. $ 3
