VARY panels on a bedside table Hemnes
Materials: RATIONELL VARIERA shelf insert, HEMNES bedside table, brackets, spray paint
description: We had a couple of vintage table lamps IKEA cube of ice that did not fit the style of the new room, so I was looking to do something that would allow me to hide, namely a kind of shade.
This is the insert tray VARY perfectly matches the height of the top of the HEMNES bedside table. As perfectly as if someone measured to enter the other. The VARY can actually be blocked in vertical position on the board of HEMNES, creating a panel. To make it even more stable, I joined L brackets at the bottom of the VARY. I used some of the shorter screws that come with the set, so they just stick to the outer surface.
I spray-painted black panels to match the bedside table, and just stuck them in place. Now the panels hide the ice lamps, baby monitor, phone charger and all their ropes and nightstands look much more pleasant, especially with the light on.
