Fixing the PAX Sliding Door

Attaching the sliding door PAX

Materials: Pax

description:
I wanted to share my hacking because I thought it might give some people with broken panels in their sliding doors hope. In efforts to save money on my wardrobe, I bought my PAX used off of craigslist. I saved $ 1500, but there was the problem of a front door which was not to my taste (black Eikesdal) and a glass panel that was broken (IKEA did not sell replacement panels).

to solve the problem, I simply bought enough fabric to cover furniture panels, was a thin piece of plywood cut to the same size as the panels glass, and used tape to hold the fabric. After painting parties "wooden" white and assembly of the door, I found myself with a large wardrobe at a fraction of the price!

Here's more about how I made the doors and my wardrobe finished all put together
