description: I like the functional and flexible IKEA PAX units, but I do not like the look of having a large closet sitting in my bedroom. I do however love the look of custom built-ins, so using PAX as foundation pieces, I built two deep cabinets that I attached on each side, then I decked it all out, with pine nuts , friezes, baseboards and wrapped skirting and moldings to match the work of the original factory in the house.
I had a carpenter make new doors both PAX and constructed I racks. Finally I painted everything and added IKEA LANSA handles.
