Expedit in the console table
Materials: Expedit
description: We were redoing our play area, and my wife has a station semi-pro to set up hair using some recycled furniture. The overall objective is to install some Besta cabinets above, for storage until the ground (and away from little fingers). However, we had a console that was sitting in front of the mirror that was just too big for the space.
Time to IKEAHACK!
I took a older Expedit 2 × 4 and removed a lower side (the side with the 4 long bolts).
then, I take down smaller divider and cut the bolts in half and then slipped (hammered) them so that the long separation was still connected to the remaining upper divider.
I use some decorative chair in the shape of the braces to provide additional support to the long separation.
I installed drawer unit Expedit (black) with some FÅGLEBODA handles instead of those included "nubby".
by applying the adhesive pads to the bottom of the unit allows it to slide on the floor without scratching.
I'll probably apply "feet" to own later to bring him to a better height (maybe 2 "high), but for now it's pretty good. Wife loves if it ' is the main thing!
