Bed hack: Expedit, Vika and Ribba’s perfect union

bed hack: Expedit, Vika and perfect union Ribba

1 Bed-741817

Materials: 3 Expedit shelves; 1 Expedit cube; 1 Vika Amon table top; 1 Ribba picture ledge; 1 bed base; . 1 mattress

Description: This is a hack ikea a double height with bedsides and headboard :. All black, all clean, lots of

Storage

Just stuff put together, no need extra building.

I did with 3 Expedit shelving units long and 1 Expedit cube. The headboard is a Vika Amon table attached to a ledge Ribba image. (. What I did not bother with again was finding the proper bedding)

So: as on other bed hacks, along the length thereof are 2 Expedits. Then through to the head of the bed, there is a third, plus a cube, resulting in a 'cube Expedit' on each side of the bed, working as nightstands.

7 Headboard-754301

This makes the structure of 224cm long and 228cm wide (at the head, with the bedside). I do nothing to solve anything. ! And voila, a frame bed

In addition to the frame I used a 0x140cm slatted base (also of IKEA in fact) - but no base would like a simple board - and then a thick mattress that makes overall 73cm large bed

(As you know, each Expedit consists of a structure with 4 shelves ;. on the third unit used around the bed, which is hidden, I don ' shelf attaches at one end, so I still have 3 small black shelves I put up everywhere.)

the bed storage 12 "boxes" (5 on each side and 2 on the bedside tables)! Ikea'sdrawers inserts are really nice for bedside tables (you can see one in the photos on my last trip to Ikea I bought several for home and only later realized I was short of one), and the remaining 10 cubes all supplements can be used; I used six boxes Drona.

Under the bed between Expedits there is still a lot of space (the gap is about 70cm wide). He might even have one of those in the bed storage boxes with wheels maybe. Currently, I'm just a large travel bag down there, with a bit of litter inside.

Now to the head.
The Vika Amon table is 150x75cm. I attached (with some * really * strong double-sided adhesive tape), the short side of a tray Ribba 115cm at the back of it, centered, then screw the other side of the Ribba wall (only the central screw in fact), the rest Vika on top of the third Expedit.

I could have added more shelves below top shelf (see the similar hack, but I do not really need the space, which can also be used to hide electrical and others.

I can still do some padded thing to go between the mattress and Vika.

and that's it. I hope you enjoyed =)
