TRIQDEM Canopy Bed
Materials: STORA Loft bed, 4 "L" between common hooks and careful assembly
description: I thought to do that some time when I first saw the single bed mezzanine STORA because he had no office on the bottom and was really obvious that it could work. I price modern canopy beds that I liked (Generally, it is solid wood, square and solid) and found the average price is around $ 700, but they did go up to $ 1,0 . Not to mention that I live in a 0sf studio in downtown and I love my big bed, and most of the beds I found was queen. So finally this week I bought a loft bed STORA on Craigslist for $ 60! (Full scale that no other accessories) and went to work. I did not take many pictures as I went, but I'll explain. Here is what I did:
1: Read the instructions carefully. I learned that they are in a specific order so that nothing ends up back and so you do not have to revert to the steps.
2: I assembled the headboard and foot and left on "top plates" that were intended to be the guard railing. I used the central board supporting the mattress support and 2 side rails.
3: I then connected the header and footer using the supplied wood grain. I put together the mattress support with slats on its own then placed upside down so that, at this stage, the headboard and footboard have all been assembled in reverse and the mattress supporting face on top.
4: Now we all in place, there was a 1 1/2 "- 2 "gap between the mattress and the support beam, so I used the extra rail timber (2 small panels) to take between two and it worked perfectly.
5: At this stage, the bed is set, but the top "canopy" is not. Because the bed is now upside down, there are no holes in the posters Screw the canopy, so I use 4 "L" brackets to connect directly to the top (you can put them where you want good) You can also use small 8 on each side, but I was as simple as it could be.
There. It took me 1 hour.
The bed can be made in many different ways in fact. I chose the loft bed STORA because it was solid wood and can be painted if I'll keep it black. You will also have additional tips you can use to make gallery shelves or cut to fit as bedside tables or just use those additional to a head. I chose not to since I love him as I for art on the headwall.
BONUS ******* I also used the scale as a shelf and makes a nice reading area, so nothing went to waste and it was worth every penny of $ 65, it m ' cost !! hahaha.
