Materials: Queen size IKEA Malm bed, 1 8 x 4 sheets of wood, nails, hammer, 2 70 lb line concrete bags, hinged gate, fishing
description:
1. Attach the bed slats on the Malm bed with fishing line.
2. Removes legs.
3. Build a box to put in concrete (counterweight) and fasten hinge and bed
4. Secure the bed to the hinges and box.
5. Cut 2 opposite side tabs that correspond to the height of the hinge that the bed is attached.
6. Attach new legs for hinges.
Optional:
7. Calculate the spring constant, k, of the spring grid.
8. Choose optimal place to fix the door spring to the bed box and weighting to the constant help of the spring. Warning: most of the bed frame is made holy. I recommend using the edge of the legs.
