Vintage inspired Aneboda wardrobe

Vintage inspired Aneboda wardrobe

Materials: Aneboda wardrobe

description: We could not afford a new wardrobe and we decided to transform our old Aneboda one.

This is how we did it:

1. First, we removed the cabinet doors and the handles and hinges.
2. Next, we removed the plastic panels on the doors by pushing and bending slowly.
3. The space where the panels were colored wood, so we painted white.
4. After this, with a pair of pliers and use one of the panels as a template, the mesh net is cut to the same size.

5. When ready, the mesh was inserted in space doors. There is no need to use glue or anything else to hold the wire in place we thought initially. Once in place, they were perfect and do not move.
6. Then we made curtains using our fabric of choice and a sewing machine. The size of the tissue was twice the size of the panels to create the wave effect.
7. The curtains were hanged and son using the hooks on the top and bottom of the inside of the doors.
8. Finally, we replaced the handles with a pair of ceramic buttons and decorated with tassels.

We hope you like it!
