Mirrored vanity desk

Mirrored vanity desk

Jule inherited an old piece of furniture that cleverly upgraded in a mirrored vanity. Guess mirrors and vanity will do well together.

Jule says, "I was given an old student desk that my parents bought at a garage sale before I was born. I liked it, but it was really functional as a vanity in my bedroom. Then one day it occurred to me that he had the right shape to convert into a mirror cabinet

So I went to Ikea for mirrors. (Mirrors Lots: 4 pieces for $ 5) and new buttons (Antik: pack 2 for $ 5). Some spray paint cans and some black grout Home Depot (I was afraid to break through the mirror, so I left a space for buttons and filled with grout.) All totaled it was about to a $ 50 investment. Not including the president, I am the president of Borje "As Is" department at Ikea for $ 30 (white upholstery was dirty, but nothing a little cleaning did not resolve.)

I am happy with the results and even my husband who hates mirrored furniture that 'he likes.

Instructions:
· Remove buttons
· Lightly sand surface (especially the top part that was damaged)
· spray paint with gloss black paint
· Measure and cut the mirrors with a mirror cut (it take a lot of practice -. my price includes 3 tiles I destroyed trying to figure out how to cut Then my husband figured it out on the 1st test, so I made him cut the rest)
· Joining the mirror. with liquid nails made for mirrors
· Fill the seams with black grout
· Develop new hardware
