Ikea Floating Headboard from Kitchen cover panels

Ikea kitchen Floating Bedside cover panels

Materials: Perfekt Abstrakt high gloss gray panels, wood framing

description: I made this headboard Ikea high gloss kitchen panels. The panels are available in 24 × 80 "so I used 2 horizontally with one over the other in order not to have to cut and re-singing in them. I ripped January 4" thick and 30 "vertical stripes long 2 × 4 to connect the two panels together and evenly spaced along the back.

I then ripped longways February 2 × 4 my saw blade table on a 30-degree angle and trimmed to 60 "long. I mounted one half of each 2 x 4 in the wall and the other half on the upper and lower rear side of the head. This allows you to 'hang' head on the wall, and the diagonal cut will accommodate the head so that it can not come off the wall easily.

Finally, I trimmed top, bottom and left with another panel 24 × 80 tracing the wall to eliminate gaps and wall irregularities. Every project is a typical day like installer here Modernash Furniture Supply. More personalized projects that we made to follow
